This site was founded in 2004 as an online showcase of my most recent work. This is the third version and is a creative outlet with an emphasis on art direction and graphic design for commercial and personal projects.

Not one to be content with just creating artwork, in October 07 I launched grassandconcrete.com to satisfy my other interests. A Grass & Concrete Yard is a place for me to experiment with anything and everything from film and video to photography and concept art.

PROFILE
Matthew D'Amato is currently working at the production company Smuggler in NYC. He graduated with Bachelor degrees in Digital Art & Design and Film from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. He was born and raised in NYC and has studied fine arts at Fiorello H LaGuardia High School and the School of Visual Arts. Matthew had his first art gallery at the age of 17 and is currently published in Portfolio Creation by Triesta Hall. He has worked in the art department on productions for Coke, Wal-Mart, V8, and IKEA. His documentary, Gibtown: A Dying History, was an official selection of the 2007 Hell's Half Mile Film & Music Festival. His goal is to use his background in traditional arts, graphic design, and digital media to pursue a position in the entertainment industry.
